[Request] Valorant - US Central Chicago Server
If possible please add a US Chicago server for Valorant. The current New York or Los Angeles servers have a poor latency to this server. Thanks in advance!
Not sure that it works well for your case. I'd added new "US East (Chicago)" destination based on your packet dump. Please test when you get a chance.
Thanks so much for your time! Is "Destination Server" purely used for RTT calculation and Auto Selection node, or does it have an affect on routing too? When I manually select a Chicago node I get ~48 ping (which is excellent) and it doesn't change at all when switching between different destination servers. If I select the new Chicago Server and use Auto Selection it switches to a Los Angeles node w/ 80-100ms ping.
When I look at the packet dump with Wireshark, it looks like the game server IP is 192.207.0.1, which is registered as an LA IP address. Strangely this IP doesn't seem to change regardless of which game server I get connected to. I did a new packet dump where I'm DEFINITELY connected to the Chicago game server (using full VPN mode, Chicago - VIG28 server, 48-50ms ping). Still showing that same IP address, but maybe there's something in there that can help you.
Even if you can't get it working, I've at least found a node setup that is working well for me. Thanks for your help!

'Destination Server' is only used for RTT calculation and auto select mode. But it doesn't affect to the routing.

Yes the game server IP is 192.168.0.1 but it's anycast IP. For details please check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anycast link though it's too technical...
Thanks for the explanation! In any case, I've found manual nodes that are working well for me, but hopefully my packet dumps will help other users as well.
Thank you for your supporting!
