I play on GMS (Global MapleStory) and the Reboot server. This happens 90% of the time.

Disabling FastConnect mode seems to fix it.. but then the game feels laggy again :/ Any way to keep fast connect on and still be able to log in properly?  

Did you try to test other mudfish nodes?  Is it all same?  I'm not sure this issue is happending on all mudfish nodes or US West (Vivid) node only.  

Sorry for the late response - yes, I've tried different nodes, even one's out of the U.S. Unfortunately the only way I can fix it is to disable fast connect - but then it feels like I'm not using a VPN at all (still laggy)

Interesting.. because I also tried to reproduce this problem on my side with FastConnect mode or without Fastconnect mode.  It seems it's fine at my environment.    One thing I noticed while testing was that some of mudfish nodes are blocked by game publisher.  
    
Did you try to test with [Full VPN mode](http://mudfish.net/docs/en/vpn/features/fullvpn_mode.html) + FastConnect mode combination too?    

Ah yes, I noticed that some are blocked by the game publisher :P (Mainly one's in regions that are blocked by the game, i.e Singapore) I haven't tried that, but I'll test it now. It might also be because I'm from Australia :P   

Ohkay. From test results using multiple nodes, both single and chained, this only happens when I DON'T have Full VPN mode on. If I have Full VPN Mode ON, this issue does not happen. As soon as I turn it off, the issue occurs again and I have troubles logging in.   
  
Is there any way to fix it so that I don't have to use Full VPN mode? It's troublesome and causes all my chat programs and all other programs to route through to US, which I don't want (as I'm from Australia).

That means that some of IP address blocks are missed at game item of Mudfish.  So to solve this problem I need to update the game item based on game packets.  If you get a chance, please send me packets using [Packet Capture with Mudfish](http://mudfish.net/docs/en/support/packetdump_mudfish.html) though I'm not sure I missed something on my tests.  
  
Or you can try to use Proxifier (http://mudfish.net/docs/en/proxy/proxifier.html) if it works with Mudfish.

:-( Hmmm..  I'm not sure what I missed at here because I thought all IP blocks are covered by the game item.  Could you confirm that your issue is now only happending with FastConnect mode on regarding no matther you're using Full VPN mode on or off, right?

Thank you for this logs.  However it seems it's all fine because at least Maple Story doesn't use UDP protocol at all.  I'll try to reproduce this issue on my side and let you know if there is any update.  

Ah ohkay. Wouldn't that be the reason? If the game uses TCP and my MTU/the node's MTU's aren't optimized, I could drop a lot of potential packets? I'm not too knowledgeable on this subject, but I thought MTU affects/is affected by fragmenting and packet size?

For this issue please update Mudfish version to latest v4.4.1.  I think this error would be gone though it's not related with your connection problem. :-(
