Hi, I created a custom item for my game. The IP for the game server is 142.44.142.9 and my ping is 108ms. The server is in canada and if I pick the node in Montreal (the game server is also there) my ping will go up to 160ms. When I let Mudfish auto select the node then my ping will go up to 116ms and it will pick a node in germany (I'm also in germany). Can you help me here to get a better ping?

Not sure how much I can help you for this case. However which game are you playing? Please send me some game packets using Packet Capture with Mudfish link while playing the game with Full VPN mode. If I can register it on mudfish, I guess you can see more detailed RTT information via mudfish nodes.

7 year agoI captured the packets with Wireshark I hope thats also ok (https://mega.nz/#!BQxmUIgI!aztYEukj9tRnISx9u_hDQrBQuI49XkWmjO1VhAGFuqk). The game is called "Dragonball Online Global" (it's a private server the original game was shutdown).

7 year agoOkay. I'd created 'DragonBall Online Global' based on your packet dump. And it seems it's at Canada montreal. Please test and let me know if it doesn't work properly.

7 year agoWithout Mudfish my ping is 108ms with mudfish and "DragonBall Online Global" item it's 270-320 ms. Something is not working as I hoped.

7 year agoDid you try to change a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes section for your game item? If you're using the advanced mode, please start with the basic mode.

7 year agoI tried it but I don't understand the "How to pick the best mudfish node for game I play?" part. It says that at "setup" -> "nodes" there is a magnifier icon but I'm not seeing any icon there.

7 year agoThe magnifier icon is at 'Item Configruation' menu. Please click the item at Dashboard to see 'Item Configruation' menu.

7 year agoOk I did it as mention in the FAQ but my ping is not getiting better then 120ms. Is it not possible to get a ping of 30-40ms?

7 year agoNop. :-) It's at Canada. I think from your location at least 110 ms is required to reach there.
