We need to narrow down this issue whether it's caused by game item itself or not first. Please try with Full VPN mode then check it happens same times. If not please let me know.

I tried Full VPN mode just then, I am still receiving the error "unable to connect to game server".

I am able to login with Mudfish off, so I don't think the issue is the game.

However, a little backstory...
4 months ago WTFast, Pingzapper, etc stopped working for MapleStory, and I went to look for an alternative.
I found Mudfish, and it worked just fine. I said I'll buy it a few months later because I was occupied at that time.
Now I'm free, but it doesn't work anymore, so maybe it's related to a recent change you made, or maybe it requires an update?

I think it's related to sockets, when I tried Pingzapper earlier (I'm sorry :<) I received 10038 which is related to that.

According to your history it seems you only tried to use "US West (Los Angeles - ColoCrossing)" node with Full VPN mode, right? If you get a chance, please try to use other nodes whether there's any differences.

And please update your mudfish client to latest version v4.3.16 then try to do with it. If there're still issues, please send me Problem Report.

I have already done all that before.
I have tested over 20 servers before I made my original post, the issue still there.
I have also tried v4.3.14 (the one that actually worked 3 months ago but no longer does), v4.3.15, and v4.3.16 and there was no difference.
The only thing I did not try till you suggested me was Full VPN and that did not solve the issue.

However, I discovered yesterday that turning off Fast Connect mode solved it! ...But obviously, not having it on makes Mudfish unnoticeable.

I have submitted a problem report. My girlfriend and I have pretty much gave up on using VPN with MapleStory but if you're still willing to solve it I would definitely purchase. Thanks for your support.

@yesimacat, it seems something is wrong because at mudfish side, whenever you changed your configuration, its history is recorded for later techinical support. It means I can see your configuration change activity but the problem is that I can't see other Full VPN changes from your account based on recorded history except few nodes.

Did you visit http://myip.mudfish.net site to see a proper message whenever you changed mudfish node after setting / changing Full VPN mode?

I've already done it a few times before Ioxch. It was working, I got disconnected from TeamViewer the moment I toggled it on, and I could literally feel the lag in a Skype call.
Your troubleshooting is appreciated but we're not getting anywhere.
This is something only someone with the right mindset like you can analyze, just download it, it's faster than it seems.

Unfortunately I'm not right person to reproduce this problem because I'm in US so no restriction to access to this game. :-( It seems it's not easy to reproduce this problem easily at my side.

I'm not restricted either though, I'm using a 2005 account and it lets me login from EU just fine.
The problem is tunneling the game through proxy, not trying to access it outside of US, it'll happen to you if you're in US as well, I had a friend test it for me when I was making my first reports.

Okay then I'll try to do it at my side. However could it be related with Xigncode (anti-cheating app) for this issue?
