I have always used basic mode. and yes I did follow the faq. I have tried basically the 10 servers with best scores. For bns sadly every DE server but Idealhosting, Idealhosting 2 and Pielayer run through telia.net. Problem is those 3 servers have a 120 ping spike every 30seconds which is really annoying. Leaseweb used to be my go to, but now are all unstable like that.

Then did you check your ISP too? When I checked RTT information recorded in Mudfish, it seems RTT stddev values to most of mudfish nodes are quite unstable to most of DE mudfish nodes. It means your ISP has an network issue. For details please check http://ko.loxch.com/userrtt/?uid=128681 link.

Its not my ISP, not this time. Yesterday I had another issue with Leaseweb server again, ping went to 80ms "stable" for hours, I switched to idealhosting and it was fine at 10ms, now Leaseweb is also back to 10ms the RTT values are all showing wrong on mudfish, it says I have 1k+ ping to everything when I clearly dont. https://i.imgur.com/dwx6qbm.jpg

Weird... If you're familiar with WinMTR, could you please test it against to 206.127.149.9 IP again?  If your ping goes up suddenly to most of mudfish nodes, it means there's an issue between your desktop and mudfish node you'd picked or at somewhere of game network side.

I use PingPlotter mostly. The issue is, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it doesnt. But its pretty clear that as long as I close mudfish the problem goes away (when its hapenning), as you can see from the fist screenshot. No problem.  :-)  When I checked your first screenshot, yep it seems definitely there's a problem at mudfish node side you'd picked.  However when I checked your PingPlotter's results, most of RTT stddev values are from the game server networks though I'm still not sure why the problem is gone when it's closed. :-( Need to look at more.

Sadly I did the PingPlotter test at night before I went to sleep, not when the lag was happening. but it used to be a standard occurrence for the past couple of weeks. If the lag is still here I cant say because I havent been able to use mudfish as VPN for the last week. now I cant even log in mudfish anymore, every time its a different error, some days it works, some days it doesn't. I close and open it many times, every time a different error, usually this one: [ERROR] MUDEC_00015: Failed to receive information from the master server for MR record: -1 ODR_ETIMEDOUT [ERROR] MUDEC_00320: Failed to fetch the static node information. sometimes it goes past that and It connects but then the dashboard takes no input and even breaks in code or stops responding (changing nodes wont change the node it finally connected to, etc.) sending this via the actual mudfish.net because localhost:8282 dashboard cant send messages either. I havent changed anything on my computer for months (besides basic updates of grapchis card/windows update) Firewall: only basic windows is turned off (router has an embedded firewall but it works with it before not sure why it would suddenly stop)

Is it still same?  It seems this issue was caused by outage of Mudfish service happened at Oct 10th, 2017. :-(

I actually formatted my computer and did a clean windows install thinking was on my side :( Yes, its working again now.
