Might be that this issue is caused by the change of the routing pathes.  Did you try to change a mudfish node based on FAQ - Nodes section for your game item? If you're using the advanced mode, please start with the basic mode.

It's just that all the nodes have a higher ping now. For example: the BR nodes used to have a 43 ms ping to me, now they all appear as having 140.

Then please check How to use WinMTR section and try to use WinMTR where this difference comes from.  I think this tool would be useful for you.

What do i do with it how does using it fix my problem

As you might guess, WinMTR is an analysis tool and it's not  a fixing tool of your issue.  So depending on your testing result the reaction should be different.  As first step, please try to test to mudfish BR nodes.
