Hello, lately all the RU nodes have been acting quite weird on my side, either high package loss or shown to be with high server load, or just really high ping with no apparent reasons.
They used to be under 200 ping combined for me to play FFXIV on JP server from Germany, but now they are suddenly going above 300 and even 1k sometimes, I haven't changed my ISP so I don't think that's the problem.
Any chance you may look a bit into this?

6 year agoSadly none of the public nodes gave better ping results.
Is there any reason that the latency of RU nodes changed so drastically all of a sudden? By looking up latency of myself to node vs node to targeted server , the former didn't change much but the latter is 100~200 ping higher than before.

( Item > Nodes > Advanced Mode )
You can also refer to our ping test service. ( https://ping.mudfish.net/ )
ex) FFXIV in japanese ELEMENT Server IP: 124.150.157.8, you can ping test from mudfish's server to game server.

6 year ago- Please try to turn FastConnect mode off or change your Connection Protocol
- Please leave what you want to play alone then close other programs.
- Picking a node that shows near flat graph may considered more consistency.
- In general, network congestion has getting increased on night to early morning.
