I can't seem to get any games to work with Mudfish. After adding the Path of Exile Item, it seems I can authenticate to the game but then the game gets stuck when I actually try to start a session (after selecting a character). Similarly Heroes of the Storm gets to the point where it accepts my Battle.net credentials (in-game) and then fails to authenticate due to timing out.
The TUM interface is active, and as far as I can tell the relevant route is in place for the Path of Exile server. It just seems like the VPN isn't properly forwarding my packets, or something.

It still doesn't work, even with full VPN mode engaged.

10 year agoVery weird. If it doesn't work with Full VPN mode, it means that basic operations of Mudfish doesn't work. Could you please check the following steps?
* Please enable Full VPN mode first. Then try to access http://myip.mudfish.net URL.
* If it says it's working, it means everything are good but game. If it's saying it's not working, it means there are some problem at Mudfish Core processes.
* If then, could you please send the problem report to see details for me? Please refer Sending the Problem Report link.

10 year agoI got it :-). However when I checked your problem report, it seems Mudfish is working fine. All basic operations were working correctly and routing table was also fine. Did you try to access http://myip.mudfish.net with that status? I'm assuming that it was good.

10 year agoNope. couldnt even load the page (same problem as all other websites). I can ping it fine, and winMTR reports that it is routing that IP through the VPN. However I can't actually connect to the website in the browser. The only website I seem to be able to connect to is whatismyip.com.
With full VPN turned off but the "What is my IP" item equipped I can't connect to myip.mudfish.net

10 year agoI've discovered that using a TCP connection to the VPN works, but UDP does not. This is not ideal for gaming, however. What could cause it to work on TCP but not UDP?

10 year agoI solved it by reducing the MTU in mudfish and on the TAP adapter to 1400

10 year agoOh I see. Sometimes MTU could be problem depending on ISP. According to the problem report, It said "MUDEC_00179: Path MTU is wrong." problem but I didn't notice that it'd be problem because other MTU tests are passed with 1400 bytes. Please let me know if other issues happen.
