You have tried going to http://127.0.0.1:8282/ ?

It's the client that's not really working. I did go there, and there was a loading bar that said it was configuring something, but the client itself still isn't working. At present, the IP address isn't loading at all.

Try going to http://127.0.0.1:8282/admin/dashboard and click on your game (for example Final Fantasy XIV) when the page loads, go to Setup tab (it's gonna be in Status tab by default) and under Basic mode click the magnifying glass icon beside the dropdown. It should be straight forward then.

NOTE: I'm not affiliated with Mudfish, I'm just a fellow user and that happened to me too. It got stuck at "configuring" bit.

It seems http://127.0.0.1:8282/ is down, on my end or otherwise. I'll have to wait for it to come back up.

Oh yeah, I wasn't paying attention (big problem I have) and I changed my data plan to subscription while fiddling with my settings. Can't change that back for a whole month...

http://127.0.0.1:8282/ is in your local computer. If you can't access it it means Mudfish is not running on your tray.

And... subscription mode means you'll pay per game instead of per data used if you play a lot it will end up being beneficial to you if you only play mainly one game (only $0.82usd/month per game).

I don't understand. I did that configuration thing you said, but when I start the launcher, I get the same error message. Then the launcher says it's running in my taskbar, but trying to get to the dashboard from the launcher brings up the error message again, and I still can't connect to my game.

The error MUDEC_00022 is supposed to happen if it can't find your default browser properly. Also if you did the configuration thing then it means you can access the dashboard. http://127.0.0.1:8282/ is basically the dashboard. The launcher is just trying to open that URL and failing is why the error shows.

What game are you trying to play? o3o

I think a problem is that regedit lists my default browser as Firefox, when it should be Chrome. I'm trying to use Firefox instead, for the time being. Not sure what to do about that. And I'm trying to play Maplestory >_>

There should be a button on Chrome in the options like "Make Google Chrome my default browser" or something like that.

Did you enable FastConnect mode in the dashboard?

Chrome is my default browser, but regedit still says it's Firefox... weird. I didn't have FastConnect on (it's on now), but yes, it was my active item.

Don't forget to re-check your game's settings.

I sort it by the lowest "Score" and select the lowest because that's the rough estimate on what my ping to the game will be.

Then try and open the game again.

Well, it's working now. It took a lot of tries, including a couple of worrisome 'your IP address was banned' messages, but we got there in the end. I dunno if it was a fluke, or if all this genuinely worked, but a result is a result. Thank you for your help!

Yeah no, I keep getting kicked with the same IP address messages. They say either the game world is down for maintenance (wrong), your IP address has been banned, or your internet connection is unstable (wrong). I mean, progress is progress, but in many ways this is worse due to how tantalising it all is. Maybe Nexon's cottoning on to VPNs or something.

I'm not familiar with Mabinogi but doesn't it have a US server? Or are you trying to connect to the Japanese one? (if there's one)

I'm connecting TO the US server. Have been from the start!

It might be that Nexon doesn't want people to use boosters like this or WTFast

Ah well. I'll probably get a refund and keep waiting for Maplestory 2 to finally get announced in the West...

@DukeOnkled as you requested I'd refunded your payment. :-) However your account has still a mudfish credit pointing that whenever you'd like to try with Mudfish, your account is ready to go with all Mudfish nodes.

When you play with Mudfish, most important thing is that basic functionality of mudfish is working or not. Simplest way to test basic functionality is as follows:

1. Set Full VPN mode
2. Visits http://myip.mudfish.net link. If mudfish is working for your environment, you can see the proper message.

And when you can confirm that it's working, you can try with that setting first. Then you can change your setting from Full VPN mode based to item based later.

I'm going to put a bit of money back in my account and run it in full VPN mode. However, if I'm still having problems, I'll likely need another refund! :P
